Hello Everyone!
We have quite a few members now so I think it's time to do something fun!
I would love to have some hognose snake art up here, but no one has taken the bait so...
Introducing HogWild's first art contest!
This month's contest is inspired by the title of this deviation:
Snake Bee!
Please create your own original concept of a "snake bee." The submission can be in any media, but be sure if you are making a photo manipulation to get written permission from the photographer. Hognose snakes are preferred, but any type of snake will be accepted for this contest in the hope that we can get several submissions.
The winner will be featured in next month's HogWild Love! artist's section(I know this is small, but the club just started!
). To enter the contest, post your art entry on DA and then send me a note titles "contest entry" with a link. All contest entries will have a spot in this month's journal.
Deadline is April 30th.

The hognose snakies feel so unloved! As an added insentive, the winner will get one free print of any image in *Snakeskii's gallery. Does that help? Finished art is great but sketches are perfectly ok too! You don't have to enter anything elaborate if you don't want to, but something would be nice.

He is also a darn good photographer.

You DO NOT need to own a hognose snake to join the group.
Member Benefits: Every deviant who joins HogWild can have three submissions added to HogWild's member gallery to start,
and then one addition per week. These can be photos of your hognose, your original hognose art, hognose animations, smileys, photo-manipulations, etc. HogWild is also an information source for hognose care and questions, and will shortly have links to care sheets, breeders, and other resources available on the web, not to mention member experience!
Adding Submissions: Send HogWild a note with a link or links to the deviations you would like to put up in the gallery. (These must already be deviations you have submitted in your own gallery or HogWild can't add them.) These submissions can be swapped or changed at any time--just send HogWild a note with a link to the new deviation and the name of the one it is replacing.
Edit: I've decided to change this to three submissions to start, and then one addition per week. I wasn't sure how many people were going to submit things at first which is why I had the rule. Please keep them coming!
